Sometimes the most fascinating stories begin in the most unassuming way. Architecture, after all, is not only about strictly following regulations\u2014drawing, planning, and executing according to rules. Architecture is so much more than technique and guidelines; it is inspiration, discovery, and sometimes even a small journey into the unknown. <\/p>

And that is exactly how this story began.<\/p>

Architect Marco Stelzel met spontaneously with Mayor Mike Schramm for a walk in the Thierbach district of Kitzscher. Together, the two strolled along a narrow path that led to a well-hidden and long-forgotten estate from another era. <\/p>

Behind dense, overgrown shrubs and bushes\u2014dilapidated and known to many only as a so-called \u201clost place\u201d\u2014an architectural gem suddenly revealed itself, something Stelzel could hardly believe his eyes. Despite its condition, one thing was immediately clear: a historic treasure lay hidden here. <\/p>

For Stelzel, the decision was instant: this building had to be saved.<\/p>

What initially seemed like a chance discovery soon developed a momentum of its own. Piece by piece, everything fell into place. Before long, investors were found, and the purchase agreement for the property was signed in 2025. <\/p>

Since then, the project has continued to gain momentum, writing its own story with every new step.<\/p>
